The name BSCOBBER comes from the phrase "Blue Sky Cobber," which reflects our commitment to protecting the environment by reducing waste and minimizing our ecological footprint. "Cobber" is a friendly term for "companion," and we see our brand as your cycling companion, committed to preserving the blue skies while you explore the world on two wheels.

 The idea for BSCOBBER was born out of a challenging experience during a high-altitude cycling trip in 2022. As an avid cyclist, I’m always on the lookout for gear that can make my rides smoother and more enjoyable. But during one ride across the highlands, my tire began to lose air, and at over 3,000 meters above sea level, where every breath is harder to take, I found myself relying on a cumbersome manual pump. It was a frustrating experience, and I couldn’t help but ask myself: “Why isn’t there a portable, efficient electric pump for cyclists?”

 When I got home, I started searching for a solution but quickly realized that most electric pumps on the market were designed for car tires, making them too large and impractical for cyclists. That’s when the idea of creating a compact, portable electric air pump specifically for cyclists took root in my mind.

 I shared my idea with a friend who happens to be an electrical engineer, and together we began working on the project. Developing the perfect portable pump wasn’t easy. We needed to create a pump that was small, efficient, and powerful enough to handle the high pressure needed for tires. We knew we’d need advanced technology, such as a brushless motor, to make this happen. After visiting dozens of factories in Shenzhen and going through countless tests, we finally settled on the 1807 brushless motor. Inspired by drone technology, we paired it with a high-capacity battery for maximum power in a compact size.

 The engineering challenges didn’t stop there. To achieve the precision needed to inflate tires to the required pressure, we had to create a high-precision cylinder—almost as intricate as crafting a luxury watch. Six months of experimentation later, we had our first product prototype. But we didn’t stop there. We wanted to make it even better, so we developed a second model with an integrated tire pressure display for added convenience.

 And that’s how BSCOBBER came to life. Our mission is simple: to provide cyclists with a compact, efficient, and eco-friendly air pump that fits into their active lifestyles while helping to protect the environment. Every BSCOBBER pump is a step toward reducing single-use plastic waste and protecting the blue skies that we all cherish.
